Hey.. I've got the stitches removed from my leg.. Everythin went fine.. A couple of new bending exercises and frequent walking on crutches.. That is about it for the week to come.. Now i am supposed to put partial weight on the operated knee while walking.. These days at home has taught me lots of lessons.. It's helped me gain a lot of weight too.. :-) But there is nothing much i can do about it right now.. Hehe... So I'm learning to walk, slowly now.. Its a great feeling.. Like anyone else, i don remember the exact day i started walking for the first time in my life.. That day could've been special for my parents n all.. But it meant nothin to me then.. :-) But this could mean somethin now.. This second chance.. It could mean everything.. My second chance To walk without falling.. To walk thru the sand n waves at the calicut beach.. To let manu play on his living see-saw again.. To jump over that big gate that stands between the hostel n college.. To play my first real game on a football field after AP left us.. To play in my first and last AP memorial football tournament.. It all depends on this walk.. And I'll make it a Walk to Remember.. Hmmm..

:-) hihi.. I've been lazy to blog.. But its just been 4 days or somethin.. Feels like its been a long time.. I got my haircut.. Almost motta cut.. I do look a lot like santiago munez, the hero of the movie 'The Goal'.. N its 25th today, the day i'm gettin my knee stitches removed.. Right now i'm on the way to the hospital.. I'll keep updating.. Change Of Plans..

Hihi.. This is the problem if i start writing something to this blog.. I just go on moblogging.. Ha, right.. So i was gonna say about the plans i had to grow my hair long.. Some of us guys, had planned this, but they were dropped one by one.. Amar cut his hair when he went home.. Dili cut too i think.. For me its gettin difficult to manage these curls.. So i've decided to cut it.. Cut it short, very short.. Somethin close to motta.. :-) Naa, ppl at college dont worry, u wont have to see my all new thug look at college.. Because, I still have about one month secluded stay at home.. So it'll grow back close to fair enough by the time i'll be back in college.. I was doing some experiments with my mobile while sitting in front of the system.. Noticed the sequence shot feature of the camera only now.. Took this shot while giving it a try.. I've been working on making some websites.. Some of them will be out pretty soon and i will post about them.. I also request my dear readers, to visit the boring sites i have made ;-) and help me get more visitors into those sites.. I'll post the details of the websites in later posts.. But as for now.. I'm just sitting here in front of the system.. And by the time i write my next post, i wouldnt be able to feel the wind in my hair as much as i do now.. So while i can, i'm gonna make full use of it.. See you after the hair-cut.. :-)

Slowing Down..

Hi guys.. Its been a week since i posted.. And the reason being evident that i'm sitting at home resting and there r no much happening things around.. Life has slowed down a lot.. I sit in a single position continuously for more than 6 or 7 hours now.. I didnt know that i was capable of that.. :-) Most of the time at home is eaten up by sleeping, browsing and eating.. Other times i just stare at the ceiling fan, completely futile.. And i get loads of time to think, about life, friends, future n all.. But however i think, i cant make any plan or anythin up for my future life.. But Then i started thinking- i've reached here with no planning whatsoever.. And i'll just go on taking life as it comes.. And haa, i've been seeing many movies.. Saw 'ab tak 56' umpteen times.. I just love nana patekar.. He's the most natural actor around.. Lights up the screen.. Hehe.. I've been doing my physiotherapy without fail.. The leg is sure getting a lot better.. But i'm just taking it slow, giving it the time it needs.. Before i wrote this, i wondered which photo to post along with this.. Dint take much pics lately.. So i'll just put in some random photo.. And as i said, life has slowed down.. But i'll start flying.. Cos i know that This is not the end.. Its just the beginning.. Its just the slow beginning!!

Discharged n Back Home..

Its monday night.. Back home from the hostel.. The most useless day of my life.. More than six hours spent in the hospital room after they came n told that i could go.. Six hours of waiting.. But i'm home now.. To recline.. To learn.. To sleep.. And a number of other things..

Sunday Holiday..

It's a sunday.. And sundays are holidays.. But my parents had their holidays on friday every week.. And they're gp doctors, so they can decide which day they want to take off even if its a monday!! Coming back to the point.. Sunday is here, the day i thought i'd get discharged.. Until schiller came one day and mercilessly shifted the day of discharge to monday.. Just kidding, he wanted to be around when i was being discharged.. So he told it's better on monday.. He's basically a nice and famous guy.. If anyone out there has a tear in ur ligament or and problem with contact sports injuries, he's the right person for you.. Got a special degree from paris in traumatology.. And he is a perfectionist.. Way to go, Dr.Schiller.. :-) The day went fine.. I did almost everything that has to be done on my own.. No pain nothin.. There were some visitors.. My doctor bhai came home from tvm.. I told about that to mahesh doc.. Everyone from home went for cousins marriage in tirur.. Umma told me how manu articulately explained my illness in one stretch to my uncle there.. :-) Most of the day was spent sleeping.. Otherwise talkin to shameer.. Bijo came at night.. He was on his way to trivandrum.. Umma came in the night to stay.. Everyone slept.. Then I lived for some time.. And then slept at about 3.. This blog is becoming more like a diary of events.. But i'm grounded now.. When i start flying.... Nothin, u just wait and see.. Hmmm..

As i was telling.. Mahesh doctor came and changed my dressing.. I sneaked in to take some pics of the surgical stitch.. I got a clean shot of the leg without any bandages or any covering.. But i wont post them here.. No way.. Its censored medical material.. For those who came to see that can eat this.. :-)

Day 3.. Walking Tall!!

Yesterday was day 3 of the operation endeavour.. Quite a happening day.. I failed the girl who came for her nursing examination with me as the patient.. But there was nothing much i could do about it.. She had no real nurse material.. I even had a feud with her examiner after she understood that i was trying hard to make that girl pass her test.. Hihi.. Mahesh doctor came.. He changed my dressing in a jiffy.. Vann speed.. I was impressed very much and it dint even pain one bit.. He left after reminding me about the exercises and regular walking on the crutches.. Haa.. I started frequent walking on the crutches.. The operated leg pains a bit while walking.. But it brings out pride that i'm walking tall.. For some time in my life.. Hehe.. Random thoughts visit often.. Nothin solid.. Updates keep coming in from college and hostel.. Dili n joy came in morning.. Dili went to give treat to his old school mates.. Amar came in the afternoon.. Don know exactly where he came from! He was tellin that he's coming from palakkad.. I thought he was coming from trichur.. U might be wondering he's coming from some other place like bangalore or chennai or hyderabad! Hihi.. Its the unpredictable Amar! He went home after some time.. Hope he reaches home itself.. I'm signing off again.. Day 4 is going on.. I'll post about it tomm.. Till then, i'm enjoying here walkin tall!!

Day 2.. Visitors..

The day after the operation.. Some visitors mostly cousins n uncles.. Dili n Mashood came too.. Go kept updating news from the class.. Crutches were brought to room and the physio showed me how to walk without touchin the operated leg on the ground.. She also gave a chart of exercises to follow during the entire resting time.. I'm gonna sleep some time.. Until the next post, adieu..

All Done.. Back in Room..

The operation is over.. To give a detailed account, i was taken inside the operation theatre at about 8.30.. There were many nursing students of the national hospital school of nursing.. And i had nothin to do, so started talking.. They told me that its the first time they're talkin to a person just to taken for operation.. Usually the guy to undergo the operation is so tensed that they dont find it appropriate to talk to them.. And i talked to them about the doctors behaviours, their classes, my hostel n a lot of stuff.. One of the guys sajith who's father is a doctor from perambra recognized our family.. There was a girl who was a big fan of nithin mathew, my old schoolmate who won first rank in the sslc examination.. Doctors started coming in, mahesh came n marked my left leg not to get confused! Schiller came in with a not so wide smile.. Then came the anaesthetist pradeep.. I was taken into the theatre at about 10 and made to lie down like i was being crucified! Some rapid movements.. Some injections, some inhalations.. Boom.. The next second i woke up in the post operative ward.. The time on the clock 2.30.. I was lousy.. I couldnt move my hands.. I could see the nurse talkin to me, but i couldnt hear anythin.. In about an hour i was completely conscious.. Uppa came on the door with somethin to drink.. The nurse gave me that.. By then i was growing restless to get back into my room.. The nurse told they'll take me after 5.. And finally did they take me at about 6.15.. The room was full of ppl.. Umma, uppa, itha, gafoor, shameer, shaheera.. And then savijesh came.. Talked some time and left.. I made some phone calls and answered some sms.. Hmmm.. This was fast.. Especially considering it took only one second for the time to shift from 10 am to 2.30 pm!! I'm back in room.. Gafoor took this photograph.. Everyone is seein me grownded for the first time.. Enjoy it while u can.. And ha.. Everythin is fine.. Just some pain.. Schiller and mahesh came n told the physiotherapist will come tomorrow.. ie on friday.. I know This has been an awfully long and boring post... But its about my first operation u know.. :-)

This post was supposed to be made yesterday.. But things happened so fast that i had to postpone it to today.. Hi.. Its D Day.. Woke up at about 7.. Told to put on a white dhoti.. And i've been tagged.. With some details on my right hand.. Hey, its not specified that the operation is for my left knee.. Wonder if they'll do it on my right leg carelessly.. Hihi.. The Last Supper!

The last supper, before the operation of course.. Wat u thought?? ;-) My parents left.. My cousins came.. Gafoor and Shameer.. Gafoor's the newly married guy.. Having fun makin noise.. Had some phone calls the last one was the best.. Hihi.. Anaesthetist came and saw.. As a matter of fact, i'm like bruce willis in unbreakable.. Have not been ill much in my entire life.. The biggest illness before this was a german measles that too a mild one.. After his checkup i went to sagar to eat chicken biryani.. Its like i'm here for some holiday.. :-) The doc said not to eat anythin after 10.. So i ate till 9.55.. Gafoor bought some mangoes.. Now i'll lay low.. At least i got to be serious some time right.. Tomm morning after general anaesthetia, its showtime.. Operation begins at 9.15 or somethin.. Next post, after the break.. Ciao..

Very clean too.. Now i'm going home.. To eat n take some stuff and do some stuff.. :-) Will have to come back before evening.. Now gonna drive again..

My ROOM!!

I'm in my room.. Its very spacious.. But i'm not here to play football na.. And its not wat i had in mind.. :-) There s good outside view of the buildings in mavoor road.. Uppa n umma were with me when i came.. Uppa left to clinic.. Me n umma now sittin here.. I'm explainin to her how the world has shrunk to one's palm due to the information age.. :-) I'm sitting here in hospital room and i'm blogging from my mobile.. I'm 100 percent sure she's not understanding a thing.. Hihi..

Tests Going On..

Tests have started.. First was a blood test.. Next a chest x-ray.. That guy doesnt know the operation is for my leg it seems.. :-) The next one was an ecg.. I'm loving it.. Hihi.. Surrounded by so much attention u know.. Waitin to see the doc.. Schiller is not here.. Nor is his assistant Mahesh.. Some other doc.. Even he knows my doctor brother.. My bro could become the most famous doc in the town or rather the state soon.. He's doing his final yr D.M cardio in sri chitra trivandrum now.. Hmmm.. This doc said to see another one.. Vinod Krishnan for medical check up.. Waitin for that now.. From here off to the ward i guess..

Dull Day..

My ligament operation is on thursday.. I'll be admitted to national hospital tomorrow.. I've been hearin take care n will pray for u a lot today.. Come on ppl, its just a simple ligament operation.. Don waste ur time prayin for me.. Hihi.. Some more details about the surgery.. Will happen at about 10am on thursday august 10th.. In national hospital.. Dr.Schiller Jos is the doc.. Strange name right.. :-) I'm gonna sleep.. Did someone tell i'm a good photographer.?! :-)

Fast Forward >>

So i'm going to fast forward to the present time.. Lots of stuff happened from 22nd june to 7th august, ie today.. Lot of friends got placed.. Kuthira got cisco, sijo got ibm.. They are the above 4 lakh salaried mhites.. :-) Then there were the never ending treats.. I'm getting more fat each day.. Went to neyyar dam on my bike with joy amar n pattu.. Dili brought the nokia n70.. The first n series phone of hostel.. :-) My first cousins marriage was on 22nd july.. Had a lot of fun.. In college the princi changed.. In hostel My system was repaired.. In college arts club n dance club and lots of clubs were inaugurated.. Had my lab exams last week.. Had yet another bike trip to kovalam last week.. The photo is from that trip, me with sijo.. And Finally i reached home yesterday.. And the surprise for today is that i've an operation this week!! Thursday to be precise.. Actually Its no big deal.. A simple procedure.. To reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament of my left knee.. football fans might know, its the same injury that michael owen had during the world cup.. :-) So i'll be home for more than a month from today.. Frequent blogging and designing new websites are in the offing.. :-) So thats it!! Phew!!

I Need Attendance..

The seventh sem started in full swing after the first stage of placements.. Don remember the date when classes started.. And i've been attending literally every hour in college.. The reason being an operation that i've to undergo this month.. Its a simple operation.. I'll elaborate about it later.. :-) As for now, i'm always present in class.. Now thats unusual.. Ask my class mates.. Hehe..

Terrorist Threat..

Its a wierd post name i know.. :-) But i was away from blogging all these days cos of that!! Actually the indian government banned the usage of blogger cos they doubted some crap things about the bombay blasts.. I guess its up and running now..
